Redline — About (revised)
About Redline

Independent judgment for projects that cannot fail.

Redline is an independent mission-critical advisory and commissioning firm. Independence is the value — no allegiance that compromises the assessment — whether you own the asset, build it, or install the systems inside it. We find the risk early, tell you plainly, and stay to govern it.

AI can flag the patterns. Judgment decides what matters.

Mission-critical projects rarely fail for lack of data. They fail because the risk that mattered was buried in the noise until it surfaced at turnover — the most expensive place to find it.

We use AI to move through volume fast: RFIs, submittals, schedules, meeting minutes, logs. Then experienced construction leadership decides which risks are real, what they'll cost, and how to escalate them so leadership can act. The tools are leverage. The diagnosis is the value.

Who you work with

A lean team, senior in the room.

You get the principals — not a layer of juniors between you and the assessment.

Principal & Founder

Shaine Montgomery

Fifteen years in construction and mission-critical delivery, including key-personnel experience on hyperscale data center programs and other large, schedule-critical builds under prior employers.

Shaine's standard is simple: pull the schedule left, hold execution to a real bar, and skip the progress theater. Owners hear what's actually at risk, early enough to do something about it.

Partner — Delivery

Tyler Vermillion

Brings the operational discipline mission-critical work demands — project controls, documentation rigor, and the executive communication that keeps owners ahead of risk instead of reacting to it.

Together, the focus is the same on every engagement: independent eyes, clear reporting, and a diagnosis you can act on.

How we work

Earned, not claimed.

Find it early

Most risk is already sitting in your documents. We surface it from what you have, before it becomes a change order or a slipped turnover.

No progress theater

Leadership gets the honest read — what's green, what's not, and what needs a decision — without the dressed-up status update.

Prove it with a pilot

We build trust through a paid diagnostic that shows its worth, not a pitch about expertise. If the first engagement doesn't earn the next, it wasn't the right fit.

Most teams start with a fixed-fee diagnostic. It's the fastest way to see what an independent, mission-critical read surfaces on your project.

A note on experience. Project experience described anywhere on this site reflects the individual key-personnel experience of Redline's principals, earned under prior employers. It is presented as individual professional history and does not represent a corporate portfolio, engagement, or client relationship of Redline Mission Critical Intelligence. Redline does not provide stamped engineering and does not replace the design team, general contractor, commissioning agent, or authority having jurisdiction. Recommendations are advisory and based on available project information.
